Bloemfontein is a University town and there is a big choice of Hotels & Bed & Breakfast establishments. Recommended Guest House accommodation includes the following and you are urged to make your own bookings:

The Sangiro Lodge is positioned 2km east of the N1 highway just off the Bultfontein Road exit in a 100 morgen game park well outside the suburban belt. From the lodge it is a 10km drive to the airfield, a 15km drive back from the airfield and 10km away from the city centre. Accommodation consists of 10 timber chalets. Each chalet has a separate bedroom, en suite bathroom, lounge with Satellite television, and a balcony that looks out to the west. The bedroom is air-conditioned. Breakfast is served in the main lodge, but there is no swimming pool or bar. The rates are R270.00 for 1 person occupying a chalet, R370.00 if there are 2 people in the chalet. The Bloem Spa is set on the southern slopes of a hill on the north-west side of the city away from suburbia. The drive to and from the airfield is 10km and will take about 10 minutes on quiet un-congested roads, and it is 8km from the city centre. The Spa facilities are excellent and all rooms are air-conditioned. The White House is a compact and immaculately maintained facility conveniently situated 6km from the airfield in Lucas Steyn Drive and 4km from the city centre. The bedrooms have en suite bathrooms, satellite TV, 24 hr. internet, and extra length beds. Most of the rooms are air-conditioned and all have fans. There is a delightful garden, swimming pool, thatched lapa with pool table and braai area and there is a pub with large screen TV. The Rates are R350.00 per night for 1 person, increasing to R395.00 for 2 people sharing. Breakfast is included and they have credit card facilities. Ilanga Estates This guest house is built in the Tuscan style and set in spacious grounds just 4km from the airfield, and 6km from the city centre. All the rooms have en suite bathrooms, are air conditioned, have satellite TV and internet connections. There is a bar and dining room and an outside entertainment area with a big screen TV and plunge pool. Rates include breakfast and are R290.00 per night for 1 person and R390.00 per night for 2 people sharing. The Impalala is set on Rayton Ridge looking out to the north and although it is in suburbia it is spacious, quiet and tranquil. Rates include breakfast and are R310.00 for 1 person and R390.00 for 2 people sharing. It is 8km from the airfield and 6km from the city centre.
