Search & Rescue facilitation
Some of you will be aware of the protracted effort spent last year
trying to find a lost pilot.
Vodacom offer a facility to subscribers called
“look4me” at a very low cost which I have found very successful in locating the
carrier of a vodacom cell phone that is a party to the arrangement by simply
sending a “find”message to the
subscribers cellphone .
Location has proven to be within a few hundred metres
at times.
If you subscribe you can nominate the party entitled
to locate you and pass on that information
to the contest director.

The Welkom
municipality has not agreed to provide the showers that we requested and that
they initially indicated would be possible – You will still be able to camp but
would have to seek ablution facilities elsewhere.
Toilets however
are adequate.
