The Soaring Society of South Africa

All SSSA member's flying administration.

Please refer all queries and documentation relating to Glider Pilot Licences (GPLs) and Authorities To Fly (ATF) to Erica Ashman until further notice.

By preference please use the SSSA GPL correspondence email address to send forms. This is the fastest way to get them processed. Alternatively you may send the forms to the Facsimile number (Facsimile +27 (0)12 803 2146) or post the forms to the postal address.

Remember - it is the owner and the Approved Person's responsibility to keep a copy of the inspection in their aircraft log book and inspection folder respectively.

SSSA Aircraft & Membership Register

We are in the process of updating and verifying the SSSA aircraft and membership databases, and we urgently need your input. Please provide the following information for your club ASAP:

A list of all gliders and their registrations
The owner details for each glider
A list of all non-flying gliders (under repair, refurb, or storage)

Also: At the AGM, Keith Ashman distributed a list of SSSA members to each club Chairman, and we urgently request that you check and update those lists and return them to Keith or to Rene at the address below. (If you did not receive a list for your club, please contact Rene.)
